Aurora, IL – Developing future generations of manufacturing professionals is a commitment Valley Fastener takes very seriously. To support the cause, on Friday, October 4th (National Manufacturing Day), Valley hosted a group of enthusiastic high schoolers from nearby Plano, IL for a hands-on manufacturing experience.
Students were able to experience different jobs needed to run a manufacturing plant and discuss a few of the options that might be available to them after their high school careers were over.
Valley believes these visits help them recruit and train the personnel needed to run and grow its business. With a tight job market and a small pool of skilled labor, these visits are a win-win for both students and Valley alike.
